*Just For You*

“This is my prayer for all of us—'Lord, increase our faith.' Increase our faith to bridge the chasms of uncertainty and doubt. . . . Grant us faith to look beyond the problems of the moment to the miracles of the future. . . . Give us faith to do what is right and let the consequence follow.” -Pres. Gordon B. Hinckley

Just another project @ the Ellison's

Yep...pretty much the title explains it all. I'm pretty sure my family has lived in that glorious home in Nephi for the past 13 years....and since then the projects have not stopped. Literally I can not think of one moment in my life that I lived there when there wasn't something going on! ALWAYS! So I think this is the 3rd or 4th time my mom has repainted the kitchen. It has just recently gone from a deep blood red...to this wonderfully light and happy color of "almost beige/off-white/taupe (spelling?)/cream/ I don't even know what you call it"....neutral! It was a wonderful 12 hours spent at the Ellison residence. About 6 of which I spent texturing the ceiling....that was a blast! :) No but really it turned out great!

Wonderful! Sorry I kind of forgot to take a picture right before we started painting..you can kind of see the red...it was crazy dark...

This is the only pic where you can see the new color on the wall. All the rest are just primer....so its a very light color...but it looked great! Especially with the dark cabinets and hardwood floors :)

  1. Hooray for new paint! I'm sure that new color really brightens up the kitchen! How fun...tell your Momma maybe she should blog something...cuz we miss her!
