Delila’s Mission; Belly Pics

We are so happy and excited for Delila to serve her mission! I can’t believe it is actually so close. Here are a few pics of opening the call.

Charlie was there. So were Dad and I, but I didn’t get any pictures of us. Lacy was also there, on Skype {basically a webcam program for those of you who don’t know what it is} Tim really wanted to be there but duty calls! He was at work. I called him once we knew.

The big moment…….

San Bernardino, California! Snookie and PJ are on the phone Mom is holding. Lacy is on the laptop. {TJ thought that was just the coolest thing ever!} As you can tell, Delila was very VERY excited to go to Cali. I mean how could you not be? We are so thrilled for her. She leaves May 18th. Its coming up very quickly. Can’t wait to have 2 missionaries in the family. I just love them so much!

Lovin A Little St. Geezy

TJ and I had the chance to head off for a getaway weekend with my parents down to St. George to visit my Grandparents {TJ’s Great Grandparents}. It was a 4 generation weekend! So much fun.                                                                               {TJ and Papa Joey}

We soaked up the sun out on their fabulous back porch over looking Zion National Park and the amazing mountains. I just love love LOVE it down there. I wish we had the chance to go down much more often. Tim, sadly, stayed behind to be responsible and go to work and school. He is such a trooper. HANG IN THERE HUBBY! Only 2 months and we will be spending a fabulous 5 days in Cali, just you and me baby @ DISNEYLAND {yeah. we’re obsessed} Its pretty sad but in 3 1/2 years Tim and I have only spent our honeymoon alone together. It is definitely time for a getaway. And what better place than D-land {plus we have annual passes. oh snap!} Anyways! You can tell that I am just a little bit excited about that….

While we were in St. George we decided to head on over to Hoover Dam and check out the new bridge. I had never been to Hoover Dam and let me tell you, it was breath taking. That new bridge {I believe it is called Memorial Bridge? I might be wrong} is unbelievable. Literally shocks you when you see it. The pictures do NO justice. And of course Hoover Dam is just as fantastic. It is so amazing to see the ability of man. Just blows my mind. We had a great time and it only would have been better if my handsome Hubby could have been there with us.

{The water has gone down so much. It was shocking to see how close to the top of the Dam it normally would have been. It almost looked like you could reach down and touch the water}

We also had the opportunity to drive over to Zion National Park. I could spend an entire week there without even thinking about it. That place is so gorgeous! And there are so many great walking trails. I would love to go spend some time at the park and hike a few of the big ones. That is just right up my alley. Some day hopefully!

{We did a few short hikes. But TJ was getting pretty tired by the end. I could have stayed all day!}

   It was a great trip and I was just grateful to get out of the house! Can’t wait for the next one =]
