*Just For You*

“This is my prayer for all of us—'Lord, increase our faith.' Increase our faith to bridge the chasms of uncertainty and doubt. . . . Grant us faith to look beyond the problems of the moment to the miracles of the future. . . . Give us faith to do what is right and let the consequence follow.” -Pres. Gordon B. Hinckley

MILO

We got a puppy! Tim got him for my birthday :D His name is Milo and he is a beagle. He's 7 weeks old and so crazy and funny. The only not fun part is waking up at 5 in the morning to take him to the bathroom and to play with him for an hour till he falls back asleep! Haha I guess I better get used to it tho right.....

Crowdin was not very happy when we took Milo down to Nephi to meet the fam. He did not want to share his toys with Milo. We just all thought this was the funniest thing lol! Milo could not get enough of Crowdin. He followed him everywhere.

*CANCUN*

Um..I think theres like 500 pictures here.....not really but theres a lot...I hope you can get a taste of what the week was like :DThe first night in Cancun we were all pretty hammered...but in need of some food...since our "all inclusive" resort didn't feature room service we headed out on the town looking for some grub...I'm just glad we didn't all get sick on the first night :D

Day 1: We're just a couple of whities enjoying our time on the beach!

Basically I think we all would have died of starvation if not for the nightly MCD's ice cream we lived off of...Meg and I decided it tasted slightly like cheese...cream cheese

Boys will be boys....

Awesome night view of our hotel

Just some posing bikes...we didn't really ride them..I think I would have killed myself on one of these things...
A whole new meaning to the term "living in the sticks"
On our way to Chichen Itza we stopped at a little rest area for like 30 minutes to get out and stretch (it was a 3 hr drive...both ways). There was a lady in the bathroom handing out toilet paper..that you couldn't flush...and she had a little tip tray for the service....I guess you have to find every way you can to make a peso in that country.....

BIG OLD IGUANA that we lured in with a banana....he was a big one

Chichen Itza was pretty cool. Its these old Mayan ruins where there was once a huge civilization of people living there. The huge tower was one of the temples they had and they also used it as a calander. You used to be able to climb to the top but just last year someone fell down and died so they don't let people do that anymore...it was HUGE.

Just a stray dog hanging out..they were everywhere and they just kinda laid there....didn't really acknowledge anyone.

Oh..and theres another one...they don't really have any neutering laws in Mexico..they just kinda breed as they please.
After Chichen Itza we ate at a home town buffet in Mexico...it was....good.....but after these boys kept trying to sell us their goods....of course we didn't buy any...Mike and Tim kicked a ball around with them for a bit...then as we were leaving Tim gave one of them his 50 pesos that he still had in his wallet from Argentina...they were excited but they still kept trying to get us to trade for Meagan's Nikes...they wanted them bad...
Awesome view from our window.
We soon figured out that this was why those people could survive on that food...Margarita y Marijuana..these were the staple foods we were missing out on!

Just hanging out at the Pizza Hut......it was...good
Lovin the MCD's cheese ice cream!

This woman was one of the many people that would walk up and down our beach day after day trying to sell us braids for our hair....she was quickly named the "predator" lady...anyone that has seen Alien vs Predator..or any of the Predator movies would recognize the head that she's carrying as the Predator!
Feeling a little...meaty

Our last day on the beach...we had a few more hours before we had to go..and I have to admit that although the beach was beautiful and the weather was perfect we were anxious to get home!

I'm BAAAAACK

So Cancun was marvelous! It was perfect 85 degree weather every day..and I got nice and tan..and a little burnt...but hey thats part of vacation at the beach RIGHT!

I definately had a huge eye opener tho. After spending a week in Mexico...w/o ice cold drinking water and delicious Americanized Mexican food..I think I lost 10 lbs. NOT GOOD...ok so the food..not that great...and the water....scary but other than that the trip was a blast. We spent every day (minus one cuz Tim was puking from 2 am-6pm) laying out, enjoying the beach and ocean...and just had an all around great time together.

I have to admit tho that we were more than excited to touch back on American soil. And after the whole process of checking back into customs and making sure we weren't smuggling a monkey or some tequila I ran my pregnant booty to Taco Bell and ate some REAL mexican food...right...but it was fabulous and the best thing I had eaten in a week.

Well all around it was a great vacation. We took some awesome pictures...(sorry no baby bump yet...just Jade's standard pooch...nothing more)...and I will post them all in a bit. Now its back to normal life...doing 10 loads of laundry and heading back to the Sizz for my amazing job hahaha :D Its good to be home and I sure missed you all!
